Adam McAtee is the founder of Evidence-Based Pilates. He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and has been a Pilates instructor for more than 16 years.

His Pilates journey began in 2009 and includes training in Classical Pilates, Breathe Education, Stott Pilates, and Club Pilates.

Adam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

Since 2020, he has served as an international Pilates educator and previously worked as the lead instructor for the Diploma of Clinical Pilates—a year-long program that teaches anatomy and rehabilitation to Pilates instructors across the world.

With a diverse background in Pilates, exercise science, and physical therapy, Adam helps instructors build their knowledge, confidence, and skill set through science-based, practical education.
